One consistent bit of feedback we get is that there aren't enough places to sit and have a meal, or just sit with a coffee and catch your breath, on the Headland. So we're making one!

 

We have a brand new Food and Craft Village this year, based in the Headland Sports Hall. It's right around the corner from the main festival site - the building actually adjoins the Borough Hall, our mainstage venue. There will be plenty of tables and chairs, with hot food vendors situated directly outside the entrance.

 

We are welcoming traders to be sited in the hall to add to the relaxed atmosphere of eating, drinking and shopping - there will even be some roaming performances through the day!
