We love traditional dance! Whether at our festival village inside the NMRN, performing and leading workshops in the Family Festival or out in the streets and pubs, these are the sides to look out for!

Wharfedale Wayzgoose

A Border Morris side joining us from Otley in West Yorkshire who make a lot of noise, drink a lot of beer and occasionally do some dancing.

Rivington

Rivington perform Morris dances from the North West of England. Mind you don't cut yourself on their razor-sharp lines!

Black Gate

Black Gate Morris is a mixed Cotswold Morris side based in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Newcastle Kingsmen

The Kingsmen perform the fast and furious Rapper Sword dances that originated in the mining culture of the North East. As likely to be found whirling in a crowded pub as dancing in the streets!

Kingsmen Clog
