The Auld Triangle:
Luke Kelly in the North East

Luke Kelly is Dublin's favourite son - but few people realise his passion for folk music began not on the banks of the Liffey, but the banks of the Tyne. MacDara Yeates traces the roots of Luke's story from the dockyards of inner-city Dublin to the folk clubs of Newcastle (and beyond). Expect songs and stories of Luke's time on 'the other island', with special guest performers including Johnny Handle and the Wilsons, with more guests TBA.
