The Two Postmen

Over the past year, Jonny Hannah has brought his ability to absorb, conjure and reflect fantastical places to Hartlepool, developing an exhibition based on the town's legends, stories and psycho-geography. Shipbuilders and Fisherfolk was commissioned to commemorate the Tall Ships Race coming to Hartlepool in 2023, and the exhibition will extend through the weekend of the Folk Festival. 

However, he is also a musician - and half of his band, The Postmen, will be roaming the festival site over the weekend as itinerant troubdours! Look out for them - they might serenade you over supper, or belt out a ballad to go with your beer.
