Welcome
Now in its 7th year, Hartlepool has become a firm favourite in the UK folk festival calendar. With our festival village at the National Museum of the Royal Navy Hartlepool, you can explore the historic quayside and HMS Trincomalee, Europe's oldest warship, which even hosts concerts. Enjoy a fabulous weekend full of dance, stories, heritage, beautiful views of the North Sea coast, and of course one of the best folk music lineups of the year.
In 2022 we already have lots of special treats planned. Keep checking this site and social media for details.
“What an inspiring event, put on with a superb mixture of love and professionalism. It was a genuine pleasure to be involved.”
Peggy Seeger
“I love your festival.”
Norma Waterson
“One of the most magical experiences I’ve ever had on stage was performing in the Barrack-Room Ballads at Hartlepool.”
Jon Boden
